Music on the telly – Nigellissima

I’ve written before about the usefulnes of providing not just captioning for songs used during broadcast shows but playlists for later reference.

Nigella Lawson’s new series, Nigellissima (interesting article here) on BBC 2 comes up trumps – the BBC website section has a playlist for each episode and most tracks link to more information on the artists. Brilliant!

But what we need is lyrics so this is an ongoing list of tracks with links to captioned videos and/or lyrics at (where possible) non-sketchy sites.

  1. Thank you so much! I loved the series but hadn’t realised how much I enjoyed the music until I saw this list, now I have a lot of catching up to do!
